Auto-merge (combine) duplicate contacts in Office Outlook 2010 / 2013.

Select Outlook contact folder to be scanned for duplicates. Click start to process and merge duplicate contacts. Merged contacts will be displayed at the end. Duplicate contacts are moved into a separate folder (for easy deletion).

  1. Select Outlook Contact folder to be processed
  2. [Optional] Change the default Merged and Duplicate folder names. Default is Merged/Duplicate-Year-Month-Date (Today)
  3. Click the Start button
  4. Program will process contacts in Microsoft Outlook and prompt when finished
  5. Open Office Outlook 2010, go to the Contacts area
  6. Open the ContactsMerged-Year-Month-Day folder to review merged contacts which can then be deleted
  7. Open the ContactsDuplicate-Year-Month-Day folder to review duplicate contacts which can then be deleted
