Tutorial CRM - Getting Started, New Opportunity

Creating a new Opportunity item in the CRM2 system is a two step process. In Step 1, create a new opportunity with the minimum required information i.e. Opportunity name, the customer account, user to whom this Opportunity will be assigned, the sales stage, probability of success and order value.


New Opportunity

Description

Fill the minimum required fields.


Select Account

Description

Required field; Customer Account


Select Campaign (Optional)

Description

The Campaign is optional or can be selected later.


Assigned User

Description

Select the team member who will be responsible to close this Opportunity.


Sales Stage

Description

Select the Sales Stage for the new Opportunity, usually a new opportunity starts as a prospect.


Order Value and Other details

Description

Fill in the Order Value and select currency, and other required details or leave them at their default values. Sale Probability is 10 %, Close by date is One month from now, the default currency is INR (Indian Rupee).


Save

Description

Click SAVE to create a new opportunity. Open the opportunity to add more details or activity.


Add Activity

Description

Click New to add a new activity. Select the activity type and status.


Add Product

Description

Click new in the Product Tab, select product category and product from the drop-down list. Click SAVE.


Add Service

Description

Click new in the Service Tab, select service category and service from the drop-down list. Click SAVE.
